Flooring

The right floor for the room, set so it stays flat.

Hardwood, engineered wood, luxury vinyl, tile, and stone across Oak Lawn. The material changes. The standard does not: dry subfloor, straight lines, clean edges.

How a floor gets chosen

Look, water, and the life of the house.

A pretty sample is the easy part. We talk through moisture, pets, basements, and how the rooms connect so the floor you like is also the floor that belongs there.

You leave the visit with a recommendation, a price, and the order the work should happen in — especially when cabinets, paint, or a bath are part of the same project.

Floors we install

Light oak floor in a dining room

Solid hardwood

Classic oak and other species that can be sanded again years from now. Best above grade, on a stable subfloor.

Dark polished hardwood in a formal living room

Engineered hardwood

Real wood over a stable core. A strong choice on slabs and in rooms that swing with the seasons.

Wide dark plank floor in a modern living room

Luxury vinyl plank

Waterproof, quiet, and convincing. Made for kitchens, baths, basements, and busy households.

Large-format shower tile and a wood-look bathroom floor

Tile

Porcelain and ceramic for baths, kitchens, and entries. Set flat, with even grout and finished edges.

Grey stone-look floor tile in a bright bathroom

Stone

Marble, slate, and travertine where you want weight and character. Sealed so it stays beautiful.

Patterns & repairs

Herringbone, borders, and refinishing when the bones of the floor are still good.

The install, in order

01

Walk the house

Measure the rooms, check the doors, and agree on the look, the budget, and the days we’ll be there.

02

Prepare the subfloor

Flat and dry comes before any pretty board. We correct dips, squeaks, and moisture first.

03

Install with care

Materials get time to acclimate. Lines stay straight. Transitions, stairs, and vents are part of the job, not an extra.

04

Walk it with you

A last pass for edges and cleanup. You get care notes and one person to call if something needs a look.
